BJ’s Wholesale Club

We just purchased two corned beef briskets for St. Patrick's Day. I slow cooked them as always for 9 hours with vegetables, stout, beef broth, etc. The meat was stringy, tough, dry, hard to chew. The vegetables were perfect and the flavor was spot on. The corned beef briskets were bad, and we had to toss the meat, and each one was about $50 bucks. I will NEVER EVER buy meat at BJs ever again!!!! My dinner was ruined. I usually buy at Publix and will now continue that from now on. Waste of $100.

I ordered a cake last week for my bonus sons birthday party today. Long story short it was not what I ordered, I didn’t figure that out until an hour before the party because my mom picked it up for me. I live about 45 mins from bjs so there was no driving back. I spent an hour on the phone trying to contact the bakery with no luck. Finally someone just got me to the manager after realizing how frustrated I was getting. George the manager called me back. We figured out it was a miscommunication between me and the girl who helped me write the order out. He refunded the cake, and also offered my mom anything in the bakery on him. Which was far more than what we wanted. It was a sweet offer but we took our refund and kindly declined the additional offering. Just went to recognize George here. Working a lot of previous management.. you always hear the bad, but sometimes it’s nice to hear the good. I’ve been a long time customer of Bjs cakes, and will still continue even after the hiccup today!

I use the pickup service, occasionally I go inside. Handicap spots and mobility carts available inside. Great coupons that help me save more. Love thier fresh meat.

Like any other wholesale club, it’s hit or miss on items. While there are permanent items, many of the good ones are here one day and gone the next. The curbside pickup is a favorite of mine. Place the order and then just show up and check-in on the app. They bring the items to your car. Very convenient.
