Banfield the Pet Hospital: Rawlings Angela DVM

Our dog was dying when we stopped there on a Friday afternoon at 6h05, July 24th - but the clinic had apparently closed at 6h00, even though the online hours announced 7h00. We had driven from the Santee National Park where our Sam had gotten really sick two hours before. They refused any service and sent us to the North Charleston emergency clinic, about 40- 50 miles away - or it seemed so?? We are most grateful to the kindest dog-owner ever - who happened to be with his dog there and offered to lead us through the tropical storm that was unleashing to the emergency clinic - never asked you your name, sir, but we are eternally thankful for your help and hope your baby boxer is better!!! We did put our dog to sleep about three hours later, but what if he hadn't had to suffer for so long and the people at this veterinary clinic had been a bit more compassionate,like real doctors are supposed to???
