We’ve been bringing our two pitbulls, Stella (5) and Silver (3), here for the past three years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they’ve received. From the moment we walk through the door, everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about our dogs. Stella and Silver absolutely adore Elaine, Dr. Walton, and the entire team. It’s clear that they are treated with kindness, patience, and love every visit. Dr. Walton is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, which gives us so much peace of mind. She is reassuring, compassionate, and truly dedicated to providing the best care possible. As pet owners, it’s comforting to know our dogs are in such capable hands. We trust this team completely and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary office that treats your pets like family. As someone new to the area, I needed to establish care for my two dogs at a new veterinary clinic, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Sangaree Animal Hospital. Dr. Pierce was amazing. My dog Grafton is very nervous around people and typically does not do well at veterinary appointments. By the end of the visit, however, his muzzle was off and he was happily taking treats from her—a testament to her patience, compassion, and skill. She was also extremely knowledgeable about my other dog, Libby’s extensive medical history and took the time to thoroughly review and discuss her care. I especially appreciated that Dr. Pierce remained in the room throughout the entire appointment, making us feel heard and never rushed. The veterinary technicians were wonderful as well—friendly, professional, and attentive. I am very impressed with the level of care and service we received and feel confident that we made the right decision choosing Sangaree Animal Hospital for our pets’ care. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

We’ve been taking our dogs to Sangaree since they were babies! Elaine & Dr. Pierce are always very thorough, kind, & remember us since we first came in. Also, the receptionists have always been kind & excited to see us for our checkups! Couldn’t recommend a better place to take your animals, they will be in great hands!

Just took my fur babies to Sangaree Animal Hospital and I could not have been more pleased and welcomed from the moment I walked in and until the moment I left. I seen Dr. Walton and he was amazing and very friendly. I have 2 nervous babies and he handled them with love and care to where they felt safe and comfortable during their exam, I wanted to shout out my technician i had Elaine for being so amazing with not only my pets but me as well! She went out of her way and making sure I knew everything the hospital had to offer me and my pets! The prices are also very affordable in my opinion which is just another amazjng reason for taking your pet there. This has to be one of the best experiences I had a vet in a long time. I definitely recommend taking your fur babies here, they seem like a family rather than just a business because you can tell they truly care about you and the animals!!

Last June I got a cat from the shelter, whose name is Fay, and I took her to see Sangaree Animal Hospital with Dr. Pierce in my first week of having gotten Fay as recommended by the shelter. Upon arrival they discovered she had a dangerously high temperature, and Dr. Pierce proceeded to explain in thoroughness about all the tests needed to rule out some illnesses she was concerned for. She proceeded to take tests, and came to the conclusion that there was a strong chance of her having FIP, which depending on the progression and type can quickly lead to death without diagnosing it and treatment. She referred me to a hospital, and prior to me leaving she worked very hard to get Fay’s temperature down, and spent an enormous amount of time talking to me and answering all my questions and providing me with education that would serve to help me make good decisions with Fay. The hospital did diagnose her with FIP, and I was then able to quickly get medicine in order to try to kill the virus before it became too strong. Fay did indeed make a full recovery with the medicine and is leading a very happy, healthy, and occasionally mischievous life thanks to Dr. Pierce’s thoroughness. Dr. Pierce was also extremely kind and caring and continued to call me to check up on Fay for weeks after the visit. I still think about how if Dr. Pierce hadn’t been as thorough and knowledgeable as she was, Fay might not be with me here today. I would highly recommend her and would still be going to this clinic if I hadn’t had to move states. Thank you, Dr. Pierce and Sangaree!!
