Sangaree Animal Hospital

We love Sangaree Animal Hospital. Been using this location since my dog was a puppy and she is 6 now. We see Dr. Balzano and have had great experiences everytime we've come in. The staff is always friendly and kind. Especially Mrs. Elaine. The few times we have had an issue with our pug they have been so nice to call and check in on her and see how she is doing. And also very quick with giving test results via phone as well. I highly recommend this location. The staff is amazing. ❤️

The staff at Sangaree Animal Hospital were so kind and compassionate when I needed to make the most difficult decision to let my precious kitty go. Can't say enough to thank all the care team throughout the whole process. You will all be in my heart. And a special recognition for Connie who was by my side and kept me informed the entire time!! Thank you!! Would recommend this office without question!!

My wife and I had been apprehensive about our oldest getting a dental because it meant sedation. However after a consult with Dr Balzano we were comfortable enough to go through with getting the care he needed. Dr. Pierce and the entire staff did an amazing job taking care of our boy (7 teeth need to be removed). He deserves the best and he got it because he’s my pal, he’s my home boy, my rotten soldier, my sweet cheese. My good time boy. He now eats like Joey Chestnut and plays like a kitten. Cannot recommend this hospital enough!!

New here looking for vet for my fur babies (1 elderly dog two kitties) read the doctors bios and was excited to see someone from my home town. Even more excited at how amazing she was! Dr Klein here is wonderful. She took so much time with us and we really enjoyed her! Dog had ear infection. Scheduled follow up. FOLLOW UP (the kind you have after you pay to have the “ thorough physical assessment” labs etc) Well at the follow up my dog wasn’t scheduled with Dr Klein (I thought he was, but apparently not) and I had to work, so I let my adult son take my dog. When I say they took full advantage…they did. Got charged for another “full work up” meds (we already had) cytology etc Dr Pierce called me this morning to “explain” their tactics… (I texted the office with complaint after I saw the bill) said she did a “thorough work up” said my dog had bad arthritis (yup I know, but this was a f/u ear infection appointment I had the “real” thorough hundreds of dollars work up just TWO WEEKS AGO)…no need to explain. I’m an adult professional and I promise I know the way they did my family was dirty. We had established care at sangree (which is not cheap) for all our animals, found comfort and trust in Dr Klein & Elaine (Elaine is wonderful too)…. Then this. Sadly, we can’t trust them at Sangaree and won’t be back.

Sangaree Animal Hospital is absolutely wonderful! The entire team is professional, responsive, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. They are so accommodating with appointments and make every visit a positive experience. Most importantly, you can truly feel how much they love and care for the animals they treat. The doctors and staff take time to listen, explain, and make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and cared for. I’m so grateful to have such an amazing, compassionate team looking after my pets — Sangaree Animal Hospital truly feels like family!
