Do NOT go to Nail Pro. Nina the nail tech messed my brows up, then asked if I wanted my nails done. I got an overlay and was never told it would be done without a manicure. She applied the overlay thick as hell and literally trapped dirt under my nails. I asked her to fix it or remove it because it looked bad. She then said I’d have to pay EXTRA for her to remove what SHE messed up. The police were even called and told her to fix it. Instead of properly cleaning under my nails, she painted over the dirt and claimed removing it would “count as a manicure” and cost more money. Completely unprofessional and nasty work. Save your money. VV Nails is a much better salon. Update: After reading the owner’s response, I feel it’s important to clarify a few things. My issue was never that I “didn’t want to pay.” My issue was the quality and cleanliness of the service I received. There was visible debris trapped underneath the overlay. Instead of properly correcting the problem, I was told I would have to pay additional fees. When the police officer was present, Nina agreed to correct the issue. After the officer left, she refused to properly fix it and acted as if she did not understand the problem. At that point, I became frustrated and left. I then went across the street to VV Nails, where the technicians immediately noticed the condition of my nails and corrected the issue. Multiple technicians looked at my nails because the debris trapped underneath the overlay was clearly visible. I also want to address the owner’s statement regarding a manicure. Cleaning visible debris from underneath a nail before applying an overlay is not the same thing as purchasing a manicure. Even the employees attempting to remove the trapped debris after the overlay was already applied acknowledged that the situation should have been handled differently. Most importantly, businesses cannot improve if every negative review is met with defensiveness instead of accountability. Customers are entitled to share their experiences, both good and bad. My review reflects my honest experience regarding the quality of the work, customer service, and how my concerns were handled.
