My husband went and picked up our takeout. Our sandwiches were each 3” long and the tortilla chips were a tiny crunched up bottom of the bag each. I would be none the wiser if we didn’t just order the exact same thing just a few days ago and it was the proper size and quality. Maybe someone is angry they had to pick up someone else’s shift back in the back?

I stopped by this McAlister’s Deli for lunch, and the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The dining room was very clean, and the staff up front were friendly and quick to greet me, which I appreciated. Service overall was solid — everyone seemed to be working hard and keeping things moving. The food, though, was a little disappointing. My meal came out looking fine, but the flavor and temperature just weren’t what I’m used to from McAlister’s. It wasn’t bad, just underwhelming, especially for the price. I’ve had much better meals at other locations, so this one fell a bit short. I’m giving it three stars because the customer service and cleanliness were definitely on point, but the food itself needs a little more attention. I’d give it another try, but I’m hoping for a better plate next time.

This place has a vibe similar to Panera Bread and offers a wide variety of sandwiches, including club-style options. Their soups are quite popular; we tried the broccoli cheddar soup and the jalapeño turkey sandwich, which were just okay. However, the service was very slow, and they forgot our soup, only bringing it out 10 minutes later after we reminded them. There’s definitely room for improvement. Steamed broccoli looked artificially colored .

Don't give people the option to customize their sandwich if you aren't going to do it. Yet again, my sandwich was missing items tonight, including one item that originally comes on the sandwich! They cant assemble sandwiches to save their lives either. I personally like the ingredients on more than just half of the bread. The fact that I have to take my food apart and reassemble it EVERY time is baffling. You'd think that people who work in a sandwich shop would be able to make a sandwich, but they cant. They only reason they get 3 stars instead of 2 is because the food does taste good. You just have to be prepared to be disappointed. I've ordered multiple times hoping that it was just the person that was working previously, but apparently its most of them since I've never gotten a sandwich that came how I ordered it.
