My husband and I traveled to Charleston from Indiana for vacation. We stumbled across coastal coffee roasters in our way home. I’m so glad we did, this was the best coffee we had the whole trip. I even bought beans for relatives, I was so impressed! They have housemade syrups which I appreciate. Staff was kind and quick. There was even a customer being difficult right before close and they handled it well and professionally. Very respectable people! I’d love to come back if we’re in the area again.

I love my monthly breakfast dates with my kids here. Delicious pastries cooked fresh daily. Great coffee & hot chocolate. Friendly staff who have come to know us. Sometimes it can get crowded but we’ve always found a place for 2 to sit.

Our go to coffee shop for all our coffee - it is perfectly roasted. The are good for the environment, the coffee growers, and the customers who want first rate product. The staff always goes out of their way to please the customer. They have a display of baked treats that catch your attention while ordering and usually tempt us to obtain one. Great experience.

As a Google Local Guide, I can honestly say Coastal Coffee Roasters is one of the most impressive coffee destinations I’ve visited. The standout feature here is the largest variety of regional coffee roasts you’ll find anywhere. It’s like a world tour of coffee in one spot, with beans and roasts from so many different regions that every cup feels like a new adventure. That alone makes this place worth frequenting. On my visit, I went straight for the Jet Fuel, a bold and energizing drink with espresso poured over cold brew. It delivered exactly what the name promises: rich flavor and serious power to start the day. To balance it out, I ordered a custom breakfast omelette packed with healthy ingredients like fresh vegetables, feta, and goat cheese. It was fresh, flavorful, and felt like the perfect pairing with the coffee. Coastal Coffee Roasters is more than just a coffee shop. It is a destination for coffee lovers who want quality, variety, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you appreciate craft coffee and enjoy exploring different roasts, this is a must-visit.

Have been receiving coffee beans from here via my family for a while now. I particularly enjoy the Sexy Seven beans. Was delighted to visit there when I went to see my family and we enjoyed breakfast and coffee there…and of course picked up more coffee beans (they are all great.) Cafe has an unpretentious and chill vibe with people from all walks of life there, so it’s lively and busy. I suspect it could be a bit difficult to find a table depending on what time you go. This is a family friendly place and I think that it would be fairly accessible for those who struggle with mobility. Parking is not an issue. We enjoyed breakfast there, having the hippie with egg and the breakfast BLT. We also sampled a scone that was fresh and delicious. It was great to finally visit and see where my coffee has been coming from. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend for their coffee and breakfast! Hope to return again. (And there is a nice little vintage store that has just opened next door….so it’s nice to have a little wander around there and see what treasures they have!)
