I have only recently purchased sod from Carolina Fresh Farms (it has been 20+ years since I had to install sod). I must say that I have been extraordinarily impressed by their support throughout this process. They kept me informed of delivery time, were prompt on delivery, and have been very helpful with advice throughout the process. I should also say that the sod was fresh on delivery, was in very good condition, and had nearly no weeds, just grass. I am very pleased. I should give a shout out to David who was quite helpful, but I have also spoken with several other people there and all were pleasant, supportive and professional. Bravo!
I have been dealing with these guys for many years even when they were in a separate location and Summerville and I always get good service. I have witnessed them dealing with hundreds of homeowners and they’re always professional and kind and knowledgeable. They sell some really nice stone, and the price is fair. I buy a lot of driveway stone and some decorative stone and it’s always good quality and I’ve never questioned the quantity. It’s always a pleasure and I think they are honest and truthful in their dealings. remember these folks are in business to make a profit and they’re not gonna have a good business if they treat people unfairly so I don’t understand some of these bad reviews. I’ve never witnessed it.
Amazing company, friendly workers and hard working. Very helpful with their knowledge of sod and landscaping in general. I had the pleasure of dealing with Chuck, a very kind gentleman who gave me some great advice on how to lay sod to get the best bang for my buck. Will definitely be doing business with them going forward.
Ordered sod from them recently, waited a week and received a call from the store saying it was still not ready. Waited a month or so amd still did not receive any call so I went to the store to follow up. The associate claimed they called and left a voice mail saying it was ready. I verified and said I did not receive the call or voice-mail. They said it is their word against mine. What is stopping them from saying they did something to anybody, especially when there is no proof? Store refused to issue a refund or fulfill their end of providing me the sod I ordered despite me paying. Will be ordering all lawn products elsewhere from now on.
I came into the Savannah hwy location a while back. The lady behind the counter was noticeably high on something, and was constantly on their phone, and had terrible customer service. Pretty sure they said their name was A something. But besides the point, to walk into an establishment and the first person you see and talk to reeks of weed and is very obviously high.... Wouldn't recommend simply because of the interaction with them
