Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream and Sandwich Cafe (N Main St)

We had a great experience at this Ye Ole Fashioned location, and it easily stood out from other locations we’ve visited, mainly because of the service. From start to finish, the staff was quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Orders were taken efficiently, food came out fast, and everyone we interacted with seemed happy to be there, which really made the visit enjoyable. The food itself was consistent with what you’d expect from Ye Ole Fashioned. Most items tasted just as good as they do at other locations, which is exactly what you want from a chain restaurant. The sides, desserts, and overall portions were solid and familiar, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The only downside of the meal was the hamburgers. While they were still decent, they were a bit on the dry side compared to what we’ve had at other Ye Ole Fashioned restaurants. They weren’t bad enough to ruin the meal, but it was noticeable and worth mentioning. Everything else, though, was right on point and met expectations. What really set this location apart was the overall experience. The fast service, friendly attitude, and attention to detail made it feel better run than most. Even with the slightly dry burgers, this Ye Ole Fashioned location is one we’d happily return to and recommend, especially if great service matters to you.

I gotta be real, the hamburgers could be better. I mean if you going to go through the trouble of making it that good might as well not use a subpar burger. Ice cream, fries and drinks all well worth it. I saw a club come out and wish I woulda gone with that….

I used to love coming here and getting the BLT, not so much anymore. $9 for this skimpy sandwich that hardly has any bacon on it. They raised the price and cut the bacon into thirds. Shame on them, and im giving the review that this place deserves. Im not a clean freak, but when the floors are this filthy and dirty, and not from just today only, but these floors haven't been cleaned in days if not weeks, and the floors just have to be filled with bacteria and a slip hazzard, very greasy. Keeping a eating establishment clean is not hard to do especailly when i counted 12 employees behind the counter on this May 23rd 2026 Saturday night. Order one of you staff workers to clean the damn floors man, its not hard to give orders to make things right if you are a shift manager. Never ever again. P.S. think of it this way, its difficult to show how filthy these floors are on photos, but zoom in and get a good look and ask yourself this.... If this is what they let the customers see, think about how filthy what they dont let the customers see looks like?

This is one of the best spots in Summerville for a meal and dessert all in one place! The menu has a great selection, including fresh salads, their special sandwiches, and a variety of delicious ice creams. We tried several flavors of ice cream—orange sorbet, white chocolate raspberry, birthday cake, and cookies and cream. The birthday cake and orange sorbet were especially fantastic! The service was prompt and friendly, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I did notice all the employees were women, which was interesting! Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty meal and dessert. 5/5!

I came to this location late, but there was approximately 15 minutes before they close. They had another customer who took up some time and I didn’t get to the window until about 7 minutes before they closed. I understand not wanting to serve someone that’s not my issue. The issue I have is that I waited at the window hoping to hear something back. If they weren’t going to serve us, that could’ve been communicated. Multiple people passing by the window and looking at us but not greeting or saying anything to us is disrespectful.
