The Azalea Bar & Garden

I love this place - with it's cozy and warm atmosphere, it is the perfect place to relax and have a drink with friends. I love the seasonal drinks, and our servers are always so sweet and attentive!

Had been wanting to try this place while we were on vacation in Charleston. Made the drive to Summerville and it was well worth it . Great spot with a speakeasy vibe . Had a couple of drinks , some food and a cigar . Everything was fantastic. Love the atmosphere and ambience of this place . Will definitely come back when in town . This was better than just about every bar and speakeasy in downtown Charleston .

The service and atmosphere were excellent, with standout items like the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake and exquisite made to order cocktails. This place is a great addition to downtown Summerville, featuring an outdoor garden for those who prefer outdoor seating. The reviewer plans to return.

I’m not typically one for writing reviews, but this place deserves all the recognition. I’m a “regular” here and my first time coming was in October 2022 when they had their Harry Potter night. I can’t believe it’s taken my hometown this long to get a cocktail bar. Honestly, how did we function without it? It’s such a great place to read a book, people watch or even meet up with friends. Not only does it have the ambiance of a speakeasy, but the drinks, food and staff also create a memorable experience. I’ve had the most interactions with Michele and she’s amazing. Truly, she’s so very kind and she always goes above and beyond to check-in and recommend something new. Definitely checkout The Azalea Bar, if you’ve never been. You won’t regret it!

This was such a unique experience! It feels like a jazz lounge. I keep expecting to see a woman in a cocktail dress crooning into a microphone. It's very relaxed and such a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of typical restaurants. They do have pizzas, small plates, and desserts. We had the Bourbon Walnut Cheesecake and it was so delicious! We'd definitely come back!
