Palmetto Fossil Excursions

Had the best time! Got there at 10am and spent the day sifting through piles of dirt. We found so many interesting things. Lots of shark teeth and other fossils. Josh was very helpful. He told us what we found and even sifted alongside of us. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Will definitely be going back again.

We were lucky enough to get Joshua as our guide and we had a great time! Hard work but it paid off. Got some beautiful teeth and fossils and even a nice meg!

I love fossils, not only shark teeth, in fact they are not my focus. My hobby has taken me around the world. France, USA West Coast, East Coast in multiple places, Japan, New Zeeland and several more. So yes I am hardened fossil digger 😂. However this 3 day tour ”tag along” was my best experience so far. From observing how Josh and Kyle manages their operations, their genuine interest in the fossils, their history and meaning and their amazing engagement. Going here for a half day or if you are a crazy fossil aficionado like me. They will set you up. Well yes I did find an amazing Meg and plenty of broken, great white shark and gorgeous white shark dito. Shark vertebrae and so much more. I could go on for ever. Highlight being part of liberation a Pelagornis Sandersi was an absolute treat. Go here, bring your kids, your siblings anybody that likes nature and finding the treasure it offers. No I did not get any discount or payment to write this! It’s actually this good! Josh and team, a deep felt gratitude for your work!!
