Oakbrook Family Dentistry

OMG, This is an amazing place. The first appointment I was meant by a friendly welcoming smile. The appointment went swift, informal and my needs all meant. I came in today with the worst case of anxiety due me needing a fill-in. Well, I'm pleased to say with patience and a calm voice, i did not cry nor passed out. Ive found my forever dentist.

The staff are amazing here. Truly do care about their patients here and are not just chasing the $. Their honestly goes a long way here. They will tell you if there are any hidden charges. They avoid unnecessary procedures (my gum is receding a bit from over brushing and the dentist could have easily told me that I needed work done on it… instead, we just monitor it each time I come in for any changes). I love this office and the staff. Very clean office, too. Never a huge wait (and even if there was a wait, I wouldn’t mind since the care you receive here is top notch).

I didn’t actually go to this dentist but I was calling around to compare pricing and I have to say Crystal was the most helpful person. She took the time to explain the easiest way to get the cheapest pricing based on my insurance. This was like the 5th place I called and nobody else went through the trouble. Thank you so much for your help!

This review is late, but Dr. Poole is an excellent dentist. He is receptive and attentive to your dental needs. Very knowledgeable dentist who makes you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend him for family dentistry.

I am a wimp when it comes to the dentist. I avoid going at all costs - until I lost a filling and was encouraged by a good friend to see Dr. Poole at Oakbrook Family Dentistry. I moved to West Ashley last year and had not needed to see a dentist until now. I scheduled an appointment and got in within a week. The staff was amazing. Kind. Encouraging. Warm. Dr. Poole reassured me he would take good care of me and I would feel very little, if any, pain. I ended up needing a crown and he even gave me something to take an hour before the procedure to relax me. He was right, I felt no pain. I have no problem driving from West Ashley to see Dr. Poole and his amazing staff!!! Everyone from the front desk to all his assistants… wonderful!! Dr. Poole has amazing compassion and understanding and goes over everything with you every step of the way! I will continue to make the drive. Thank you Oakbrook Family Dentistry! You rock!
