I booked my first visit to Hettie J. Salon for March 3, 2026 hoping I could find someone who really can help me get my short, fine, and thin hair to look better after receiving a not so great haircut! Mackenzie Crain/owner, exceeded my expectations!!! She is so wonderfully talented and knows what you need for your hair. Her cut made my hair look great! I am new to South Carolina and am thrilled to have found the Hettie J Salon and Hair Co and Mackenzie. I went in to Mackenzie with my hair in a really poor shape. After some time talking with Mackenzie about my hair and what I wanted , she analyzed my hair and gave me a great cut and a plan for future care. I am glad to have Mackenzie as my SC hairdresser.and have already shelled my next appointment . I think you should try Mackenzie if you want good hair care.

I finally found my hair person! After searching for so long for someone who truly knows how to cut short hair, I found her—and she is AMAZING. It must be because she’s not from around here 😉 She actually understands shape, texture, and how to style short cuts the right way. My hair has never looked this good. If you’ve struggled to find a stylist who really gets short hair, this is your sign. Highly recommend!
