Earth Fare

I'm honestly extremely disappointed. I was excited to give this place a shot, but I was pretty let down. The bulk food selection is very minimal, and the produce was awful. The apples and several other items were pruned and soft to the touch. I might come back for some of the niche non-fresh items, but that's about it.

I’ve been stopping by this Earth Fare pretty regularly, and I have to say, it’s one of the cleaner, more pleasant grocery stores in the area. The produce section always looks fresh, and I love that I can actually find organic options without digging around. It feels like a store that pays attention to the details. The staff has been friendly every time I’ve asked for help, and the overall vibe is calm—no chaotic aisles or cluttered displays. It’s just an easy place to shop. My only reason for giving four stars instead of five is the pricing on some items; I get that it’s an organic‑focused store, but a few things feel a bit higher than they should be. Still, if you care about clean ingredients and a nicer shopping experience, this Earth Fare is definitely worth the trip. I keep coming back for a reason.

Service is always great, friendly faces who are always willing to help. Sara at the bakery was so nice. The young men Caleb and Ryan at the juice bar today were attentive with great attitudes. Fresh pressed juice is very refreshing and not very expensive compared to other places. ($6 for 12oz) Smoothies are the same price. This place is the best for all things clean and natural! They always have nice deals, especially in the "Reduced for quick sale" area. $2 for less desirable but still fresh produce. Cafe area has plenty of seating to enjoy a sandwich from the deli. Bathrooms are always clean.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always available to help with product information and dietary advice. However, most items are way too pricey, even for organic products, which could deter budget-conscious shoppers. Despite the higher prices, Earth Fare still boasts a good collection of everything I need. I must give special mention to their nuts collection, which is both diverse and well-stocked, providing quality options for snacking and cooking. Checkout lines can be long during busy hours, but the overall experience and focus on ethical sourcing justify the wait. Overall, Earth Fare earns a solid four-star rating for its dedication to healthy living. I highly recommend it.

I judge a produce department by their selection of sweet potatoes. This place had purple, white, Japanese, Garnet Yams and Covington Sweet potatoes( which are apparently some kind of local Carolina variety). I may have even missed some. Staff were friendly. Come check this place out if you like high quality produce. Good organic selection as well.
