Blonde and Balayaged

Jasmine is wonderful. A welcoming and kind presence surrounds her and she is very aware of her clientele’s needs. Skill, honesty, and reasonable expectations were set and established at the beginning of the appointment. She was able to take an idea, reel it in to make it safe for my hair, and then proceeded to make it even better than I could have imagined. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible professional who specializes in blonding, bayalage, and vivid colors. I would recommend her to someone looking for a simple haircut. 10/10 would reccomend!!

I have used Jasmine several times and all went well. Last time I went, she did a 200$ color, which I expect. When she was done, she said “ let me snip off the ends” she LITERALLY snipped my hair for less that 30 seconds. I am not exaggerating it was like snip snip snip and she was done .When I left, I come to find out that she charged me 60$ for the trim. I was very upset, but I was shocked And didn’t say anything at the time. The next time I came in I told her I needed to talk to her beforehand and I told her that I was upset because she had not warned me ahead of time that this very dead ends at the end was going to cost me $60. She said “yes my cuts and trims are all the same price $60“ I told her I understood that, but she should’ve told me in advance. (All my other Hair Stylist would take off the variants complementary, but that’s not the issue) she just kept repeating “yes my haircuts and my trims are all the same price – $60” we kept going round and round in circles with me telling her that I was upset that she didn’t warn me in advance and she kept repeating “yes – my cuts and trims are all $60“ without any comment on the fact that she didn’t warn me in advance. It was frustrating ! I felt bad but I could see I wasn’t getting through to her so I Got my hair done and left. ( By the way I hit my head on the precariously situated shelf in her bathroom which had a hook and I was bleeding profusely and she never once called to check and see if I was OK) , But that’s neither here or there. I decided that maybe I should get another Hair Stylist that didn’t sit right with me. I wanted to go see another lady that works where she used to work and I accidentally left a message on Jasmine‘s voicemail telling her that I was looking for another Salon. She called me and very nasty told me that I had left a message on her voicemail accidentally when I was looking for another Salon(my stupid mistake), we got into a big argument cause I explained to her that I wasn’t as upset about her charging me the $60 as I was about the fact that she didn’t warn me in advance. I could see it if she did a full on haircut but she literally Snipped the ends. She kept repeating “I told you that my cuts and my trims are the same price, $60“ I lost my temper a little bit and said “yes I know that it was $60 but you didn’t tell me beforehand“ and she kept repeating “yes my cuts and trims are $60“ my advice is that if you go to her make sure to ask her how much every tiny little thing is, Because she uses unethical business practices.

Jasmine is very talented at what she does! She takes the time to listen to your wants/needs and delivers every time. My blonde hair always turns out perfect and has the most beautiful cool color/tone after my appointments with Jasmine. Her salon suite is super cute too and cozy. Love the one on one time I get without all the noise and bustle of a large salon. I always enjoy my time when I go, Jasmine has such a sweet personality and is very pleasant to visit with.

Jasmine is the best!!! It's not just about hair. It's about feeling like you're at home the minute you walk in. Jasmine truly listens to what you want to achieve even when you don't know the right words to explain it. She is very honest about what can be done to keep the integrity of the hair, and she is very fair with her prices. I will never go to anyone else!!
